  I can't believe all of the negative reviews, we had such an amazing experience. My husband had been in excruciating pain for weeks when we finally went to the ER. He was promptly given pain medications and made more comfortable while we waited for a surgeon. Although it took some time to finally see a doctor, the nurses were great helping to keep my husband comfortable. We went to surgery that day and the whole team was very kind and understanding. They communicated well to me what was going on, and most importantly, they saved my husband's life. His after-care with the other nurses was amazing too, each one took sincere interest in how he was feeling and managing his wound and pain levels, even though the hospital was quite busy. I would come back to this hospital in a heartbeat. Great people. Great medicine.

  I want to publicly commend and thank Dr. Jonathan Lindgren, our emergency room nurse, Carly, the receptionist and the pharmacy staff at Providence Seaside Hospital. We brought my mother in with severe pain in her back and leg. She has been struggling for some time with back injury and residual pain. We were vacationing in Seaside for the 4th of July and the hospital was very busy with all kinds of emergency cases. Despite the busy situation, we received outstanding care for mom. The doctor was very patient, listened to all of us, not just Mom, and gave us great care. His compassion was very touching. Carly was also amazing. She was knowledgeable, efficient, and very caring. The receptionist who registered Mom was one of the most polite, patient and understanding I have ever encountered in such a situation. The pharmacy was also very patient and helpful, as we had some insurance challenges to work around for the prescriptions. I can't praise Providence Seaside Hospital highly enough. Thanks for such a great job!

  I Would Not Likely Be Alive Today Without Providence Seaside Hospital. Originally admitted late December 2016 and placed in ICU, emergency transported to Providence Portland ICU with a total time spent on full life support in ICU being 11 days prior to return back to Provident Seaside with a total time spent of twenty-one or twenty-two consecutive days in their highly capable care. None of the doctors expected me to walkout alive, feeling that there was just no possible way due to the critical nature of an existing respiratory/heart condition which had taken virtually everything from me. The incredible and extreme compassion, coupled with the unyielding resolve of the doctors and those precious, ever present nurses just never stopped trying inspite of all odds stacked against me. With God's help and through the heroic efforts and profound dedication of these incredible people, I am obviously still alive more than one year later and counting. My personal sense of gratitude and absolute thanks at every level is far in excess of what I can manage to convey through words alone.
